Nicolas Maury, PhD, is Technology Project Leader in the Airbus Commercial Central Manufacturing Engineering - Innovation Metallic Technologies - department. In his role, Nicolas develops metallic sustainable and cost-saving technologies for future aircraft structures, especially direct energy deposition, via internal and external partnerships: design-to-cost / manufacture, process readiness, new materials, co-design of large and complex parts. Nicolas has been working in the Airbus Group for 8 years in several positions, in Engineering Materials & Processes (Commercial, Helicopters), before joining Manufacturing Engineering linked to Airbus plants for elementary parts.
